Messenger Privacy Notice

This notice explains how Kurso.ph handles information when you message our Facebook Page through Messenger. It adds to our Privacy Policy, which covers everything else. We handle personal data in line with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).
What we receive
- Your Facebook name and the Page-scoped ID that Meta gives us when you message our Page.
- The messages, images and files you send, such as questions and payment screenshots.
- Details you choose to give us, such as your full name, email address and payment reference number.
How we use it
- To answer your questions about our courses.
- To check purchases and course access, add courses after a manual payment, and correct the email on your account.
- To keep our replies accurate and resolve problems.
Some replies are written automatically by an AI assistant using our approved answers. A member of our team reviews and approves anything that changes your account or orders, and handles refunds, complaints and other special requests. You can ask to talk to a person at any time.
Who processes it for us
- Meta delivers Messenger messages.
- Anthropic provides the AI model (Claude) that reads your message to draft a reply.
- Cloudflare hosts our reply system and stores conversation records.
- Shopify stores your orders and customer account.
- Telegram is used to alert our team when a message needs a person.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use your Messenger conversations for advertising.
How long we keep it
Conversation records in our reply system are deleted automatically after 90 days. Order and account records are kept as described in our Privacy Policy and as required by law.
Your choices and data deletion
You can ask us to show, correct or delete the information we hold about you. Email support@kurso.ph with your Facebook name and the email you used with Kurso.ph, and we will act on your request within 30 days. You can also delete the conversation from your own Messenger at any time.
